#* excessive intrapartum glucose supply;
#*medications: terbutaline, ritodrine, propranolol, oral antidiabetics;

#neonatal pathological conditions:
#*[[fetal growth restriction]], [[hypotrophy]]; [[hypertrophy]]; [[prematurity]];
#*[[Perinatal asphyxia|postpartum hypoxia and asphyxia]]; [[Sepsis of the newborn|sepsis]]; rival;
#*hypothermia/hyperthermia; [[Hemolytic disease of the newborn|hemolytic disease]], [[Polycythemia (neonatology)|polyglobulia]];
#*transient neonatal hyperinsulinism;

===Causes of persistent or recurrent hypoglycemia===

#endocrine disease: pituitary insufficiency (growth hormone deficiency, septo-optic dysplasia), cortisol deficiency, congenital glucagon deficiency, adrenal medulla insufficiency;
#[[Inborn errors of metabolism with acute symptomatology|inborn errors of metabolism]]: galactosemia, fluctosemia, glycogenosis type I, maple syrup disease, methylmalonic and propionic aciduria, tyrosinemia, carnitine defect, acetyl-CoA dehydrogenase and others.
