Wikilearn 1. LF UK

Wikilearn is a project 1st medical faculty of Charles University, which is created to support education on our faculty. Main point of this project is to simplify process of preparation of the education materials their editing and actualization. We won’t to create an encyclopaedia so that is a reason why articles don’t need to satisfy all requirements which are necessary for common encyclopaedia and will be designed as chapters of textbook.

Main differences between Wikilearn and Wikipedia

Although the rules and recommendations in Wikipedia are mostly same for any scientific text and in most cases is their using recommended by editing Wikilearn too, should authors use the most effective form of articles in order to their easy future use in educational process.

Because the education must follow the trends in scientific research sometimes is needed to use a data from research too. (Using of primary information is allowed) Data must be verified and every time must be published their origin. Reliability of the data must be reviewed by the competent specialist.

Correcting of mistakes and updating of articles is free and it is based on great number of members as it is common in Wikipedia. Community of Wikilearn is much smaller than the community of Wikipedia that’s why updating and correcting mistakes can take a longer time. That is the reason that Wikilearn is bound to faculty structures to ensure their technical and factual administration.

Thank you for your patience with reading this article and wish you pleasant work with Wikilearn.
