Primary aggregation

Primary aggregation is a process influenced by the platelet activator - thrombin .
Because of it and other stimulating substances, platelets can aggregate (cluster).
The mediator of this reversible aggregation is fibrinogen . Platelets have receptors for fibrinogen on their surface.
