β2-agonists with rapid onset of action (RABA = rapid-acting beta agonists) are drugs used as relief drugs in the treatment of asthma bronchiale.
Drug group includes:
- inhaled β2-agonists with a short-term effect (SABA = short-acting beta agonists)
- fenoterol,
- salbutamol and
- terbutaline,
- inhaled β2-agonist with a long-acting effect (LABA = long-acting beta agonists)
- formoterol
