Adenoameloblastoma

Adenoameloblastoma is an odontogenic adenomatoid tumor. It is a benign and nonrecurrent tumor .
Occurence[edit | edit source]
- Typical in young people (up to 20 years).
- Occurrence is up to twice as common in the maxilla as in the mandible
- Most often in the area from the second incisor to the premolar.
Description[edit | edit source]
The X- ray shows a sharply demarcated clearing. Adenoameloblastoma is small (1-3 cm) and very fibrous . In the section we see a whitish-gray tissue containing one or more cysts with a yellowish jelly-like content. The presence of epithelial structures that resemble glandular alveoli is characteristic.
