Ankylosis

Ankylosis is a condition caused by the formation of a bony or fibrous connection of the bones forming the joint, accompanied by joint stiffness and a reduction or loss of mobility in this joint. It can be caused by trauma, rheumatoid arthritis, infectious arthritis, congenital malformations or Bechterew's disease.
