Occurrence and clinical picture[edit | edit source]
- occurs relatively rarely, bilateral aplasia in ½ cases
- the ulna tends to be shorter, more strongly curved with a concavity more radially
- the hand is in a severe varus position[1]
Therapy[edit | edit source]
- at an early age exercise
- at the end of the 3rd year, the flexor et extensor carpi radialis can be lengthened
- at the age of 8, operations are performed on the joints, corrective osteotomy of the ulna or longitudinal splitting of the distal end of the ulna with filling with bone grafts[2]
