Aquaretics

Aquaretics are receptor blockers for ADH.
- Vaptans , non-peptide low molecular weight V1 and V2 receptor antagonists:
- conivaptan ,
- reabsorption mainly of water,
- i.v. treatment (low BAV),
- indications: hyponatremia due to e.g. SIADH (Syndrome of Inappropriate ADH).
