Audiology

Audiology deals with the study of normal and damaged hearing and is a representative of scientific fields that lie at the interface between biological and technical sciences. One of the founders of this field, winner of the Nobel Prize for discoveries in the field of physiology and pathophysiology of hearing, Georg von Békésy, was originally an electrical engineer.
