Berry's ligament spans between the thyroid glands capsule and the cricoid and thyroid cartilage. [1]
It is of great importance in thyroid surgery - it has an intimate relationship with the ``n. laryngeus recurrentens. Together with the ``lobus pyramidalis, it is the place along which tissue remnants most often remain after thyroidectomy.[2]
