Blumberg's sign

We are slowly pushing on the abdominal wall. With rapid release, pain will appear at the site of pressure. The phenomenon is caused by peritoneal irritation, pain occurs at the site of the inflammatory process. Together with the Rovsing and Plénies signs, it is typical of acute appendicitis.
