Coordination (complexing) reactions lead to the formation of coordination compounds . In these chemical reactions, ligands are transferred.
An example of a coordination reaction is: CuSO 4 +4 NH 3 -> [Cu (NH 3 ) 4 ] SO 4
In this chemical reaction, the ligand is (NH 3 ) 4 .
