Cumene hydroperoxide

Cumene hydroperoxide is used as an oxidizing agent in dry chemistry (a class of analytical methods), e.g. for the qualitative identification of blood by the pseudoperoxidase reaction.
IUPAC name: 2-phenylpropane-2-peroxol
