Dermo-respiratory syndrome
From WikiLectures
The occurrence of atopic eczema together with asthma is common - up to 30% of children and 50% of adults with atopic eczema have asthma at the same time.
To influence skin and respiratory symptoms, we administer systemic therapy with oral corticoids, antileukotrienes and antihistamines. However, most treatments for both diseases (atopic eczema, allergic rhinitis and asthma) are topical.
