Enophthalmos

Enophthalmos means an eye stuck in the orbit. It occurs either due to atrophy of the fat pad or to enlarge the orbit, or a combination thereof. Ex. orbital injuries (blow out fracture, atrophy from damage to the nerve supply and nutrition), metastases of scarhot cancers (breast or stomach). It occurs in Horner's syndrome, where it is more likely.
