Flexor digitorum brevis muscle

Beginning: tuber calcanei, plantar aponeurosis
Attachment: by tendons to 2.-5. finger to the plantar surface of the middle phalanges
- The musculus flexor digitorum longus passes through the cleft of the tendons
Innervation: n. plantaris medialis (branch of nervus tibialis) (L5–S1)
Function: flexion of proximal interphalangeal joints 2.-5. finger
