Iliopectineal fossa

The iliopectineal fossa, is a triangular shaped fossa in the proximal part of the thigh on the anterior side lying at the depth of the femoral triangle, is a topographic space bounded by the m. iliopsoas (laterally), m. pectineus (medially) and fascia iliopectinea (dorsally forming the floor between the two muscles). It contains structures from the lacuna vasorum of the inguinal canal - femoral artery and vein.
