Limbic System (Password)
From WikiLectures
The limbic system, formerly referred to as the rhinencephalon (or olfactory brain), is part of the telencephalon (big brain). It is formed by the rim of the cortex, which surrounds the hilus of the cerebral hemisphere (hence the name limbic, Latin limbus = rim) and subcortical areas - the amygdala, hippocampus and septal nuclei.
