METEORISM

Meteorism is an increased flatulence, bloating. It is manifested by a rise in the abdomen due to the widening of the digestive tract with excessive gas content. It is usually caused by aerophagy, vegetarian diet, intestinal bacteria, dyspepsia , ileum . The gases partly leave the rectum (flatulence) and are partly absorbed in the intestine.
