All mimic muscles are innervated by the branches of the motor part of the facial nerve (Temporal , zygomatic, buccal, marginal mandibular and cervical)

Orbital Group[edit | edit source]
- Orbicularis oculi (marginal and palpebral parts)
- Corrugator supercilii.
Nasal Group[edit | edit source]
- Nasalis muscle (lateral and alar parts)
- Depressor septi nasi
Oral Group[edit | edit source]
- Orbicularis oris (marginal and labial parts)
- Levator labii superioris
- Levator anguli oris
- Levator labii superioris alaeque nasi
- Depressor labii inferioris
- Depressor anguli oris
- Mentalis
- Risorius
- Zygomaticus major
- Zygomaticus minor
