Morbus Peyronie

"'Morbus Peyronie "' (induratio penis plastica) is a rare disease of unknown etiology. Clinically, it is characterized by the appearance of a ligamentous Strip in the tunica albuginea, which is palpated longitudinally on the dorsum of the penis. It causes a very painful deviation in erection and may prevent sexual intercourse. Treatment is very difficult, in some patients the ligament strip spontaneously disappears.
