Multifocal fibrosclerosis
From WikiLectures
Multifocal fibrosclerosis (systemic multifocal fibrosclerosis) is a term for a group of inflammatory diseases of unknown etiology including at least some cases such as Riedel's thyroiditis, primary sclerosing cholangitis, insulin-dependent diabetes or Sjögren's syndrome. Currently, this designation is being abandoned, a significant part of such defined diseases probably represent organ-specific manifestations of IgG4-associated disease.
