Musculus extensor carpi ulnaris

Beginning:

• 

  Posterior surface of the forearm. Superficial muscles. Extensor carpi ulnaris muscle is labeled in purple.
  caput humerale - epicondylus lateralis humeri
• caput ulnare - dorsal surface of the ulna

Tendon: base of the 5th metacarpal.

Innervation: nervus radialis (ramus profundus).

Function:

• Extension of the wrist;
• ulnar duction of the wrist together with m. flexor carpi ulnaris.
