Myopathic Gait

Myopathic gait occurs in patients with Duchenne or Becker muscular dystrophy . It resembles a duck walk, it sways from side to side. Patients also have difficulty walking up stairs and getting up from a sitting position when they help themselves with their upper limbs (climbing).
