Nanotechnology in medicine/Liposome
From WikiLectures
A liposome is a particle that is classified as a nanoparticle, even though it is not a nanoscience product based on its size and design. It ias actually a cavity bounded by a phospholipid membrane. Liposomes can serve as a transport medium (vector) for a number of drugs, for some drugs this use is already possible in the clinic.
