Opisthotonus

Opisthotonus is a symptom.
- This is a specific position of the back, in which the patient rests on his head and heels with his body bent forward into an arch due to spasm of the back muscles.
- Opisthotonus can be a symptom of tetanus, eclampsia, or hysteria.
