Pectoral Major muscle

Beginning: the medial part of the clavicle, the sternum and the first six ribs.
Attachment: crista tuberculi majoris humeri.
Innervation: nn. pectorales laterales (C5–C7); mediales (C8,Th1) – pars supraclavicularis plexus brachialis.
Function: clavicular part - auxiliary function during forearm pronation.
- Sternocostal and abdominal part - adduction, internal rotation.
- Accessory inspiratory muscle.
