Peyronie's disease
From WikiLectures
Peyronie's disease (induratio penis plastica)is a rare disease of unknown etiology. Clinically, it is characterized by the formation of a fibrous band in the tunica albuginea, which is palpable longitudinally on the dorsum of the penis. It causes a very painful deviation during erection, and can thus prevent sexual intercourse. Treatment is very difficult, in some patients the fibrous band disappears spontaneously.
