Pronator Canal

The Canalis pronatorius is located distal to the topographic formation fossa cubitalis. It is a transition between the heads of the pronator teres muscle and subsequently between the heads of the flexor digitorum superficialis muscle. The median nerve passes through it from the fossa cubitalis to the layer between m. flexor digitorum profundus and flexor digitorum superficialis muscle.
Borders:
- m. pronator teres – caput humerale et ulnare,
- m. flexor digitorum superficialis – caput humeroulnare et radiale.
