Pseudodementia
From WikiLectures
Pseudodementia is a subjectively perceived decline in memory and intellect, often occurring as a result of depression or anxiety states. Unlike organic dementia, it subsides with compensation causing mental disorders and has no morphological correlate.[1]
Dissociative pseudodementia includes Ganser's syndrome, which appears in difficult life situations in predisposed individuals.[2]
