Psychodysleptics

Older name for psychedelics, also psychotomimetics, hallucinogens (LSD, psylocin, psylocybin, mescaline, DMT). They cause transient psychotic states, such as hallucinations , dream images, depersonalization , changes in sensory perception, and mood swings. They are often abused for their euphoric effects, although they can also cause depression and feelings of fear.
