Rituximab (trade names Rituxan, MabThera and Zytux, ATC L01XC02) is a chimeric monoclonal antibody directed against CD20 , a surface antigen of primarily [[B lymphocytes] . It is used in the therapy of hematological malignancies and also as an immunosuppressive agent in the therapy of some autoimmune diseases.
