Rovsings signs
From WikiLectures
We slowly palpate the abdominal wall in the left lower abdomen. The palpation causes pain in the lower right abdomen. The phenomenon is caused by peritoneal irritation, pain usually occurs at the site of the inflammatory process. Pain is always where the affected peritoneal area irritates the muscle. Along with the Blumberg and Plenies sign, it is typical of acute appendicitis.
