Total scalp avulsion[edit | edit source]
- caused by long hair getting caught in the machine
- scalp replantation / formation of granulation tissue is supported. (colander-like holes in the diploe) → dermoepidermal graft
Partial scalp loss[edit | edit source]
- solved with tissue expansion
- less often rotational + transpositional flaps
