Spinal ganglion – overview (AZAN)[edit | edit source]
Description: 1 – neurons of the spinal ganglion are pseudounipolar, their protrusion is not visible, 2 – nuclei mainly belonging to satellite cells (they have the function of glial cells), possibly fibroblasts, endothelial cells or Schwann cells, 3 – neurons with accumulated lipofuscin (one of the typical features of neurons ), 4 – peripheral nerve found on a longitudinal section.
