Sternohyoid Muscle

Beginning: dorsal side of extremitas sternalis claviculae, lig. sternoclaviculare posterius and manubrium sterni.

Attachment: the caudal margin of the corpus ossis hyoidei.

Innervation: ansa cervicalis profunda.

Function: retracts the uvula caudally.
