Temporal Fossa

Fossa temporalis (temporal fossa) is a slight depression of the skull and is located on its side.
Boundary[edit | edit source]
Medially: squama o. temporalis
Laterally: arcus zygomaticus, fascia temporalis
Ventrally: facies temporalis o.zygomatici
Cranially: linea temporalis superior
Caudally: crista infratemporalis o. sphenoidalis
