Trigonum lumbocostale

Trigonum lumbocostale is a weakening of the abdominal wall where penetration of diaphragmatic hernias can occur .
Medially, this space is bounded by the pars lumbalis diaphragmatis , laterally by the pars costalis diaphragmatis , and dorsally by the costa duodecima (XII) . Physiologically, there is no structure in this landscape.
