Description: SS – blind spot, NO – optic nerve, R – retina, CH – choroid, CV – corpus vitreum.

Description: 1 – stratum pigmentosum of the retina, 2 – nuclei of the 1st neuron of the visual pathway (rods and cones in the stratum nucleare internum), 3 – nuclei of the 2nd neuron of the visual pathway (bipolar cells in the stratum nucleare internum), 4 – nuclei of the 3rd neuron of the visual pathway (ganglion cells in the stratum gangliosum), 5 – axons of ganglion cells, SS – blind spot, NO – optic nerve, R – retina, CH – choroid (choroid), CV – corpus vitreum (vitreous).
