The McBurney point

The McBurney point is called the junction of the navel and the spina iliaca anterior superior, at a distance of 2/3 from the navel. Up to this point, the maximum pain in acute appendicitis is promoted. Together with Blumberg's sign and Rowsing's sign, we rank it among the peritoneal signs of acute appendicitis.
