Dilation of superficial veins:
- formation of varices (lower limbs, esophagea hemorrhoids - external, internal).
Risk factors[edit | edit source]
- Heredity;
- obesity;
- pregnancy;
- oral contraceptives;
- long standing;
- lack of movement;
- low fiber in food – constipation;
- smoking
Complications[edit | edit source]
- Inflammation;
- thrombosis;
- leg ulcer;
- rupture of esophageal varices;
- formation of hemorrhoids .
Venous thromboembolic disease[edit | edit source]
Formation of thrombus in deep veins, pulmonaryembolism.
Virchow Triassic[edit | edit source]
- Violation of the endothelium;
- slowing of blood flow;
- increased blood clotting.
