Wavelength

Wavelength is a parameter of a wave that characterizes its spatial periodicity . It indicates the smallest distance between two corresponding points on a propagating wave, e.g. two maxima or two minima. With the wave frequency f and the wave speed c , the wavelength is related by the following relation:
