Cortico-dependent asthma
From WikiLectures
Cortico-dependent asthma is asthma in patients with severe forms of asthma (OIA), when systemic oral administration of corticoids is necessary.
About 5% of asthma patients fall into the difficult-to-treat asthma (OIA) category. Asthma cannot be achieved or permanently controlled in them.
Aggravation caused by reflux irritation , but also reduced compliance and adherence to treatment in severe psychiatric diseases can lead to OIA.
