Recurrent otitis media

Recurrent otitis media in children is most common in the first two years of life, comes with a respiratory illness and recurs several times a year.
Causes[edit | edit source]
Mainly adenoid vegetation or insufficiently developed immune system, allergies, heredity. Gastroesophageal reflux can also be one of the causes.
Prevention[edit | edit source]
Therapy[edit | edit source]
It is always necessary to examine humoral and cellular immunity - then possibly autovaccines, immunomodulation. It is always necessary to treat the recurrence correctly. Climatic treatment (High Tatras, sea) is also important, but for at least 14 days. Treatment of gastroesophageal reflux.
